Case Study: Creating a Local Service Business Website that Sells
Client: Wrigley Painting
About the Company
Wrigley Painting is a local company dedicated to serving the San Diego area, that provides Professional Interior and Exterior Painting services for residential and commercial clients.
The client reached out to us asking for help with their website. They had previously hired another web company to get their business online, but the results were not as expected. The website was built on an old static html framework, and worst of all, it wasn’t even completed. At a first glance, the website looked like a site for a car dealership, and it did not clearly represent the service offerings of the company.
After meeting with the client and listening to their business needs and goals, we suggested a full website design, developed from scratch, that focused on accurately representing the services the client offers, the quality of the work they deliver and the experience they have. We also saw the need for strong calls-to-action in order to turn website visitors into qualified leads.
We created a brand new website, fully responsive and visually appealing, that clearly shows what the company does. We added strong statements like “We’ll Make Your Home Look Amazing”, along side eye-catching calls-to-action geared toward capturing leads that could be turned into customers.
Since many painting companies focus mainly on residential clients, we used creative visuals to emphasize the commercial painting solutions that are also offered by the company.
In order to reflect the experience and reputation of the company, we created a Testimonials page that showcases client reviews gathered from different sources, as well as badges from different review sites like Yelp, HomeAdvisor and the BBB. We also created a Clients page to showcase the list of commercial clients that have entrusted projects to Wrigley Painting.
The result is a modern, visually attractive and results oriented website designed to promote branding and reputation, and most importantly, capture leads, get more clients and increase sales.
Old website had no calls-to-action and it looked more like it was promoting Chevy trucks.
New homepage has an appealing slogan, photograph related to the services and strong call-to-action.
Old Services page had a very plain layout and it was missing visuals and a proper services list.
New Services page has graphic banners that link to secondary pages with full list of services.
Old internal pages have no clear calls-to-action and no easy way to request more information.
Internal pages have clear Contact forms to request more information.
